Message of Congratulations from President Moon Jae-in

I would like to congratulate the opening of Global Tech Korea 2021.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the participants of Global Tech Korea 2021 which is opening the door to humanity’s dream of a better life,

This year Korea made an outstanding performance across all industries including semiconductor, display, battery, materials, components, and equipment and has proudly joined the ranks of advanced countries. I can sense an accomplishment and strong pride of Korea’s world-leading technology from the theme of today’s conference “Contact K-tech, Meet the Future”.

System semiconductors, bio and future cars which are big three industries Korean government is driving to foster are main pillars of advanced economies. Moreover, data, network, AI industries are leading technology innovation and pioneering new markets. Korean government will provide strong support to ensure rapid growth of future industry.

I cheer for the Korean engineers who are quietly endeavoring and hope that Global Tech Korea 2021 will establish itself as a venue for solidarity and cooperation. I wish everyone the best of happiness.
